Of Saree parties and times gone by..

The Beautiful Temperamental Six Yard
A road down the memory lane..the picture at the end of the post above, is myself and W at one of our firm's banal parties..the good thing about those parties was dressing up, the quiz section (Remember W? what fun we had..and waiting up for the Mumbai announcement) and the drinks...it was always the drinks.

Infact it was at the end of one of the parties that I found W, a college junior..and eventually clicked and became really good frnds..read enthusiastic frankie gobblers, poker players, ladies night party goers, night time vigilantes refusing to pay a penny extra to the auto drivers..and ofcourse DIEHARD Hyderabad lovers.

Another post for the experience called Hyderabad..till then, this is to W, and thanks for making me meet all those wonderful friends, for all those raucous times..letting me experience the magic of MMTS ( Does his train really take 15 mins to office and I still choose the auto?),and for Nand :) She is a great support here in US and we both miss you

You were like too good to be true! Lading up in creaky old and boring D! and igniting some fun office days! man i miss you you-soon-to be-smarty-pants-funny-mommy!

I just came back from blore! went to hard rock again and bought 11 pairs of sandals! Do you know that in Blore they are not allowed to dance or perform live music etc. because they come under "live-act" so they need a special permit or something...it's crazy!
